Improving

We have been working outside a lot lately. We still have a lot to do, but we did get the beds around our house done. They look awesome! I have to share!
This is the front of the house. We have some crocosmias, impatiens, columbine and a little azalea that will get a lot bigger in the corner.

This is the north side of our house. Being the north side, we had to find things that were shade loving. There is a hosta, fern and a few others that will fill in. We bought a hydrangea to put in the back corner. It will be so pretty!

The beds used to be about 1-1/2 feet wide and just straight. We don't like the straight look, so we've improved them. I can see where we're heading with all this stuff. Sometimes it doesn't feel like we'll ever get there, but then we finish something and it gets that much closer!

Hope everyone has a great day!

I love your yard. You should "rent" yourself out to do consultations on people's yards. You could have made a pretty good chunk of change at my house the other day. Labor+consultation... You'd be rich! :) Thanks again!

Great job! What other plants are shade loving? I need some for my back yard too!

It is hard work, but OH so rewarding. They look beautiful and I totally agree on the straight look!

Take care!
