More of the Same

I promise, someday the pictures will be done!!

Here are some of the fun and happy people while we were enjoying the beach at Point No Point! Julie had just taken off her jacket because she thought it looked stupid to be wearing a jacket on the beach. Probably practical on the beaches here, but...

Isn't this a cute picture...I think it's so funny that the blond one sticks out! :) One of these things is not like the other...

Have I posted this one before?? I can't remember...so...here you go again. Now the hair colors are even. ;)

We'll stay with this theme. Beautiful dress, bad picture. Sorry.

This is Kyle when we went camping. He was having a great time, he would fall down, then start playing with the dirt. It was fun. If you notice the big old bandaid on his arm, this is how it happened. Since Court can descibe it much better, here's what she said about it....

Kyle hurt his arm while he was in the bike trailer. He figured out how to get his arm through a small space in the canvas and then stick it into the spokes on the wheel. Luckily Brad stopped pedaling as soon as he heard something in the wheel. Kyle's arm had quite a bit of skin that had come off, but it wasn't broken or bleeding. We kept it bandaged up for about two weeks. It has healed nicely.

Well put. The other night when we were watching the Brown kids, we put Kyle to bed and turned on the baby monitor. He sat in there and talked to himself for about 45 mins before he went to sleep. The funniest part is that he sounded like he was asking himself a question then answering it. You were hear babble babble babble? And then "Yeah". It was a hoot!

And with that, I'm done with pictures for the night. We apparently have to clear up a little question that's been going around. We were going to go to Hawaii again in December, but it has now been cancelled. Brent was going to go to training, but now he has training here in Washington. Anyway, sorry we didn't clear that up earlier!

Love you all!

The Posting Strikes Back

Ah, Star Wars...isn't it the best! :)

Oh my heck! That is just so cute! Reyes is getting so big. I really notice it in this picture!

Here is the tennis gang. Thanks for the picture Julie! They had a lot of fun, except for when Brent was trying to get a ball and crashed into the chainlink fence instead cutting his forehead and scratching his glasses. Fun was had by all! Mostly.

Here's Brent and my dad flying kites in Port Townsend. My dad had the BEST time. He was all smiles. It was fun to watch.

Ok, kind of a bad picture of Sarah, but I think Brent and Kyle are so cute that I can't help it. Kyle likes to point out lights and say, "lie?" And we all say, "Yep, that's a light." He's pretty cute! And he really like Brent which Brent likes. Oh, and you can't see, but Sarah has a BYU sweatshirt on. That's another reason it's good to have Kyle in the front. :)

Reyes, Marcela and Luz. Three generations!

I like to call this one, "Knock it off Jared!" But he is kind of funny!

I saw this bouquet in Pike's Place Market early on in our Seattle adventure. I just loved it so I bought it saying that I would carry it the whole way. Well, Brent ended up carrying it most of the way, but that's just because he is so super nice! :)

Well, I have to go to church. I know, I take too many pictures! It's true! See ya!

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Posts?

Here we go again with the catch up pictures...

This is my newest, well, since February, sister-in-law Katie. If you can't read the sign above her head it says, "No fishing or crabbing." The reason that this is so funny is that Katie's maiden name is Crabb. Hee hee. She's such a good sport! It was so much fun to get to know her a bit better while they were here this summer. We just love her!

For all of you who don't know, Brent LOVES puzzles. He thinks it is a great way to spend a day...working on a puzzle. I have very little patience for puzzles, so I usually just sit and read while he works on his puzzle. This is the first time he's gotten this one all together. It has a lot of grass and a lot of cows that look the same. After he finished this one, Fred Meyer had a big sale on puzzles, so he got three more. We're going to need another table to put these together on!

Here's Brent and his mom doing a scrunch picture in Port Townsend. They got to spend a whole week together. Brent had such a good time just hanging out with his mom. They also got a lot done around the house. It was great! Mom has this saying, "Five minute projects." Every day you can get done a five minute project and slowly but surely everything will come together. Thanks for the advise! It really has helped!

This is kind of an old picture of Reyes, but I just think it's cute. My Grandma would say, "Do you want to catch flies in that mouth of yours?"

I think four pictures is normally the most you can fit for some reason. On to the next post!

Part Deux

Here are some more pictures!

Aren't they cute?? The newly enlarged Linton family!
Let's go fly a kite! It was fun to just watch the box kite fly...for awhile, but then it got kind of boring, so we kept taking turns.

On a hot day at the Blackberry Festival in Bremerton, it is nice to get splashed on by some random girl who you don't know, right Brent?

This is a picture of our kite along with the Point No Point Lighthouse. (I know what you're thinking...why "Point No Point"? Truthfully, I have no idea. It's just a dumb name of a nice beach.)

This is Marcela's mom Luz with baby Reyes. Luz doesn't speak much English, and I don't speak much Spanish, but we got a long. You can always tell what someone's heart is like in any language!

Speaking of Marcela's parents, this is "Grandpa Willie" (Guillermo) with Brent in Port Townsend.

Oh ... my ... heck ... we are sooooo cute!

Seriously, we are so cute!

Here we come...walking down the street...we get the funniest looks from...everyone we meet!

I am told that I am out of time for tonight... we must go read scriptures before Lost. (At least we have our priorities right.) I will not be able to finish this montage (or however you spell it) of our summer tomorrow night since I have a YW meeting, but I will finish it soon!

Bye!

I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker...With Flowers in My Hair

I know, what?? This is my favorite song right now. It's kind of funny!

Hello all, and welcome to the procrastinator of the world's blog! I sit upstairs thinking, you know, I really should go down and write on my blog, but then I don't...again. Sorry.

There is so much that has happened this summer that I haven't written down, so I'm taking these next couple of blogs to just catch up! Ok?? Here goes... (And these are in no particular order)

Julie took this picture while she was here. She just loved Brent's hair. The funny thing is, this is really a calm version! :)

Here's Grandma with her newest grandbaby. Pretty cute, huh?

Jared, Katie, Me and Brent on the ferry to Seattle. It is always a pretty picture out on the front of the boat, but really chilly!

Everyone comes to visit and what do they want to do?? Go play tennis of course. This is Julie. I don't know if you can tell, but the net is made out of chain link. Maybe next time they won't go play in Bremerton!

And here are Mom and Julie catching some rays on the beach. See, we do have sandy beaches up this way...it's just kind of chilly!

That's all it will let me do this post, so get ready for another one, or two, or maybe even three!
