I don't know about the rest of the country, but here in California, the Prop 8 (banning gay marriage in California) stuff is still going strong. People are still angry and are still attacking my church about it.
Our friend who lives here in California found this great article by Orson Scott Card. (He wrote Ender's Game along with a lot of other scifi books.) I enjoyed it so much, I'm encouraging everyone I know to read it. It's worth it.

I read it this morning and I really liked it too. Did you see in the church news today that they had an article about it as well? I read that, and within that article clicked on a link that sent me to an article the Church put out at the very beginning which outlined their reasons for joining the Yes on Prop 8. All were good and very thought provoking.
