Alas


Alas, my much anticipated blueberry syrup did not turn out. The good news is that the blueberry jam that I didn't even know I was making did turn out. (I meant to do that - NOT!)Yeah me! Maybe next time.

The question is, do I give out the recipe so you all can make blueberry syrup and it really turns out as blueberry syrup, or do I keep it to myself until I do get it right. Hmmm...

Syrup. . .jam. . .whichever is usually fine with us. You really can't go wrong with sugar and fruit. Either is good on waffles or toast. :)

I agree with Angel - both are pretty tasty! I'm sorry that it didn't turn out though. Frustrating!

It looks delicious! Besides, Mom always took aprocot jam and made it into syrup, so I'm sure you can take your jam and still turn it into syrup!

Too bad it didn't turn out! I am sure it still tastes yummy! Was this the only jar you got (you did say that it took a LOT of blueberries) - Better luck next time. At least you tried...good for you!
